Since 2002, Chris Pearmund’s premier winery has shared the Virginia Wine experience with its guest in unique, charming and ever evolving ways. Sitting on Virginia’s oldest Chardonnay vineyard, Meriwether, Pearmund Cellars provides a picturesque setting to enjoy wines both inside and out. Relaxing on the terrace overlooking Meriwether, guests are afforded a charming backdrop in the shadows of the Shenandoah. Guests are invited to stroll through the vines, see the old farmhouse and barn, sit throughout the shaded grounds and make their own memories. Always focused on education, Pearmund Cellars boasts a variety of programs designed to teach, in a social setting. We have hosted an American Wine Society chapter and classes from WSET for decades. Tastings are offered at Pearmund Cellars every day, allowing its guest to experience the award winning wines. Different ways to encounter their wines include food pairings, reserve and library tastings, barrel samplings and a variety of larger events including wine dinners, educational wine luncheons and tours of the historic property.
